How it works
- Who we are: Slip Surgeon is an independent NBA and NFL data project, created by WYA. Every number comes from FanDuel and BetMGM (Michigan) prices and public stats (ESPN, nflverse and the official NBA injury report), rebuilt every hour. How we build a slip: max 3 legs, all from one game, each line one alt step down, at or below the player's recent median, and no questionable or out players. We don't post a record, and nothing here is a lock. About.
- Reading: your screenshot is read in your browser (Tesseract.js); it never leaves your device. NFL and NBA player props (TDs, yards, receptions, points, rebounds, assists, threes, combos) and game lines (moneyline, spread, totals, team totals on BetMGM).
- Matching: legs are matched to today's and tomorrow's FanDuel and BetMGM (Michigan) lines. If a book doesn't have your exact line, we load its closest main line and flag it.
- Links: one tap loads the matched legs into the book's bet slip. Same-game legs load as a Same Game Parlay and the book sets the final odds.
- The read: where we model a stat, FanDuel's price is compared with our model (ScoresAndOdds projection blended with recent form and defense vs position). Swaps come from today's Hunter data.
- Sources: prices from FanDuel Sportsbook and BetMGM (Michigan), captured at build time; lines move, so check the app. Projections from ScoresAndOdds; stats from nflverse and ESPN; injury status from the official NBA injury report and ESPN, re-checked every few minutes (the same status every Slip Surgeon tool uses).
