Early season: NBA teams have played only 2–3 games, so these numbers swing a lot from one game to the next. Treat them as a rough read until about mid-November. "Last 10" matches the season until teams reach 10 games.

How to read it
- Allowed/g is the total the defense has given up to that position per game (all players at the position combined).
- vs avg compares it with the league average for the same stat and window. +25% means a quarter more than a typical defense.
- A soft matchup is one input, not a prediction. Role, minutes, game script and injuries matter too. This is model data, never a lock.
