Points, levels and streaks

We reward helping the room, never winning. Nobody earns points for a slip cashing, and we don’t keep win-loss leaderboards.

How you earn

• Everyone in the chat is signed in with a verified email, so every member can earn points.
• No points for spam, tailing or reacting to your own posts, or posting the same slip again within a week.
• Tails and reactions only count from verified members, once per person per message. Taking a reaction off and adding it back earns nothing extra.
• If our mods remove a message, the points it earned come off.

Levels

Your level shows as a small icon next to your name in the chat. Tap or hover an icon to see the level name.

• Walk-In · 0+ points (new members, no icon)
• Resident · 50+ points
• Doctor · 200+ points
• Surgeon · 600+ points
• Head Surgeon · 1,500+ points

Daily streaks

Tap 🔥 Check in in the Waiting Room once a day (days run on Eastern time). Your streak shows as a flame next to your name, and every 7 days in a row adds a +5 bonus.

Slip of the Day

Each day we may pin one shared slip that helped the room: a clear breakdown, a smart swap, honest notes. The poster gets a shoutout at the top of the chat and +25 points. It’s a pick for being helpful, not a promise the slip hits.

Full Access and staff

A teal ring with a small pulse icon on someone’s avatar means they’re a Full Access member. A small scalpel next to a name marks our moderators, managers and owner.

Monthly thank-you

At the end of each month we look at the most helpful members by points and may give some of them a free month of Full Access, by hand. It’s a thank-you, not a contest prize, and it never depends on results.
